Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tel Britton (ranked 554 p4p, 56 weight class) and Quetzal Montezuma (ranked 375 p4p, 40 weight class). Montezuma is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Mayan Predator. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tel Britton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Quetzal Montezuma! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Britton throws an off balance right hand
and Montezuma counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Britton catches Montezuma with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Britton scores with a decent looking hook. An inside leg kick lands from Montezuma. Britton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Montezuma misses with a looping right. Montezuma takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Britton throws a combination that misses letting Montezuma counter with a right hand. Montezuma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Montezuma tries to land a body kick and Britton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Britton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Britton throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Tel Britton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Britton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Montezuma cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Britton connects with a jab. Montezuma looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Montezuma throws a right hand that misses
and Britton counters with a stiff right hand. Britton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Montezuma uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Britton. Montezuma was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Nice uppercut lands for Montezuma. That snapped Britton's head back.
Britton moves out of range as Montezuma throws a body kick.
Montezuma throws a hook but Britton avoids it easily. Britton misses with a straight right. Montezuma moves out of range of the strikes. Britton slips a jab from Montezuma. Britton is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A telegraphed right hand from Britton misses the target. Britton throws a hook to the side of Montezuma's head but Montezuma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Montezuma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Britton moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montezuma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Britton.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Britton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Montezuma - the referee stops the clock and Britton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Montezuma. Britton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Britton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Montezuma makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Britton really felt that one! Britton is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Montezuma, right into the meat.
Britton swings and misses with a shot to the body and Montezuma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Tel Britton has been cut. Montezuma throws a sloppy body shot
and Britton counters with a straight right hand. Britton misses with a looping right. Montezuma steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Britton. Montezuma misses the shot to the body. Britton throws a shot from downtown. Montezuma moves away and avoids it. Montezuma keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Britton. A countering left hand to the body from Montezuma misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montezuma jabs at Britton's body. Britton throws a jab but it's blocked by Montezuma. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Montezuma! But no joy. Britton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Britton swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Britton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Britton backing away here, and Montezuma unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Britton swings widly with a right hand
and Montezuma counters with a nice uppercut. Montezuma is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Britton. Britton avoids a kick to the body.
Britton is looking to counter punch. Britton moves away from the strike by Montezuma. Montezuma throws a body punch but Britton moves out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Montezuma.
Montezuma moves out of range of the strikes. A nice side step and Montezuma releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Montezuma thows a body kick. Britton tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Britton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Montezuma. Montezuma misses with a looping right. Montezuma lands a big head kick that sends Britton to the canvas! Montezuma follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quetzal Montezuma! A very excited looking Quetzal Montezuma made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Tel Britton was interviewed post fight and said '...Next time.'.
