The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Habib fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Theodore to the ground. Habib is now in Theodore's guard.

Theodore has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Habib off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Theodore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Habib tries to avoid it but Theodore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Habib to the ground. Habib escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Theodore has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Theodore lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Theodore tries to keep at a distance but Habib has taken the fight into the clinch.
Habib prevents Theodore from breaking the clinch.

Habib has clasped his hands together around Theodore's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Theodore is looking to get back to his feet here but Habib is keeping cool and he's managed to take Theodore's back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Habib controlling the positon.

Theodore tries to roll but Habib sticks to his back.
Theodore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Habib. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Theodore is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Habib is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Theodore won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Habib off his unconscious opponent!
