Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Fujiwara (ranked 802 p4p, 94 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 1224 p4p, 151 weight class). Yoshi Fujiwara had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujiwara takes a swing at Hammer's ribcage but misses.
Hammer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fujiwara throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hammer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fujiwara throws a hook to the side of Hammer's head but Hammer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fujiwara misses with a jab to the body
and Fujiwara takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fujiwara throws a right hand that misses
and Hammer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fujiwara thinking.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hammer.
Hammer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fujiwaras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A slow jab from Fujiwara misses its intended target.
Hammer takes one to the chin there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hammer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fujiwara throws out the jab.

Hammer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fujiwara on the side of the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yoshi Fujiwara will probably get the nod.
That's time! Fujiwara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Thor Hammer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
