Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winkle takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Winkle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzo's waist but Gonzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Winkle off to one side.
Gonzo misses with a wild combination.
Winkle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gonzo but Gonzo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gonzo lands with a hook. Winkle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Jose Winkle has been cut.

Doctor Gonzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Winkle.

It looked like Gonzo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Winkle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Winkle lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Doctor Gonzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gonzo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Winkle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Gonzo is trying to stand back up but Winkle is controlling him

Winkle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gonzo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Winkle is thwarting Gonzo's attempts to control the position.
Winkle works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzo is in all sorts of trouble here.

Let's hope that Winkle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Winkle has got one arm under Gonzo's chin. This could be trouble... Gonzo trying to control the other hand but Winkle gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Gonzo has tapped out! The fight is over!
