Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Wise!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to land a front kick but Wise steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wise pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kane is out of range and Wise settles back down.
Kane fails to land with a series of punches.
Kane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wise circles away.
Wise thows a body shot but no joy.
Good shot there by Wise.
Kane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wise swivels and escapes.
Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wise as he avoids it easily.
A jab from Wise does it's job there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wise misses with a straight left.

Kane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wise is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Kane tries for a kimura but Wise is defending well.
Kane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wise pushes Kane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kane tries to stand but Wise is controlling his head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wise lands a slapping body shot.
Wise lands a big uppercut and Kane crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kane looks OK. Wise waves Kane back to his feet!


It looks like Don Kane has been cut.
Wise throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Wise misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wise fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kane square on the jaw! Damn, Kane is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dennis Wise!
