PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Chojnowski (ranked 8701 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Paulo Guelra (ranked 6803 p4p, 0 weight class). Chojnowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nothing More - Do You Really Want It ?. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guelra looks to throw a body kick

and Chojnowski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guelra's guard.
Guelra trying to keep a closed guard but Chojnowski is proving a slippery customer.
Guelra has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
