Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Severus seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Emperor Severus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Severus misses.
Thompson goes for a double leg but Severus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Severus continues to drive forward.
Severus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Severus feints a jab promting Thompson to slip. Severus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thompson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Thompson thows a huge punch but Severus dodges it nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thompson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Severus is trying to reverse the position but instead Thompson has taken his back - oops!

Thompson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Severus defends well and Thompson ends up having to push Severus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Severus is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Thompson has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Severus is tapping! This fight is all over!
