Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Manley (ranked 2123 p4p, 247 weight class) and Michael Bobeth (ranked 2837 p4p, 308 weight class). Manley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Born in the USA. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Bobeth!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobeth stuffs the takedown.
Bobeth attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bobeth looks to land a body kick but Manley moved away.
Bobeth thows a leg kick but Manley checks it
and Manley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Manley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bobeth's head.
Manley controlling the action here.
Manley stops Bobeth from getting back to his feet.
Manley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bobeth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bobeth looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bobeth is trying to stand back up but Manley is controlling him
Manley is nestled in close to Bobeth, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bobeth has hold of Manley's hands but Manley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Manley is working for a submission of some sort.
Bobeth is looking to escape.

Bobeth is not content to let Manley control the position.

Manley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Manley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Manley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bobeth is trying to stand up here but Manley is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manley is trying to control the action in half guard but Bobeth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Manley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bobeth is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Manley landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Manley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Manley winds up and cracks Bobeth with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bobeth is trying to stand up here but Manley is controlling him well.

Bobeth is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Manley trying to control from Bobeth's half guard. Bobeth has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Manley landing some decent shots from guard.
Manley stands up over Bobeth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bobeth is rocked!
Manley loads up on a big left hand. Bobeth felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Manley looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bobeth can't hide his disappointment, as Manley celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iggy Manley!
Iggy Manley tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
