Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Wyatt (ranked 3198 p4p, 354 weight class) and Johnny Johnsen (ranked 4232 p4p, 425 weight class). Johnsen has chosen Cypress Hill-How Can I Kill a Man as his entrance music. Brent Wyatt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Johnsen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brent Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Johnsen! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt scores with a punch to the head. Johnsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wyatt was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnsen. Johnsen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Johnny Johnsen has been cut. Johnsen misses with a double jab.
Johnsen thuds a left hand into Wyatt's body. Johnsen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyatt. Johnsen lands a glancing blow to the side of Wyatt's head. Wyatt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnsen.
Wyatt moves out of range of the body kick. Wyatt is looking to counter punch. Johnsen circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've been told by Wyatt's head coaches at BAD BOY MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Johnsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Johnsen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wyatt.
Johnny Johnsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnsen throws a series of strikes that have Wyatt backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnsen swings for the body but Wyatt moves out of range.
Wyatt tries to bum rush Johnsen with a series of wild strikes but Johnsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt defending well as Johnsen loads up on a big left hand. Wyatt lands a left and a right that send Johnsen crashing to the mat, dazed. Wyatt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Johnsen is rocked! Brent Wyatt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnsen throws a looping overhand right but Wyatt ducks down to avoid it. Johnsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Wyatt finish him? Wyatt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnsen. Wyatt connects with a body shot. Johnsen throws a head kick that misses and Wyatt counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Johnsen looks winded! Wyatt has Johnsen up against the ropes in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnsen has had enough of the clinch but Wyatt keeps him there for the moment. Johnsen seems to have recovered his senses. Wyatt breaks from the clinch.
Johnsen takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wyatt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wyatt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wyatt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnsen, pushing him back against the ropes. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Johnsen manages to pull guard.
Wyatt slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnsen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wyatt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Johnsen is looking for a triangle but Wyatt pushes his legs off easily.
Johnsen wants to hit a switch here but Wyatt passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Johnsen there! Johnsen is trying desperately to improve position. Johnsen has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Wyatt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnsen on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Wyatt trying to control but Johnsen is having none of it. Johnsen is trying desperately to improve position. Wyatt wants to control the pace but Johnsen is squirming around nicely. Johnsen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnsen wants to control from the top but Wyatt keeps moving. Johnsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wyatt is keeping the position for now. Wyatt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnsen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnsen lands a couple of digs. Wyatt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Johnsen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wyatt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wyatt has escaped and now he's on top! Johnsen throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brent Wyatt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Johnny Johnsen's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Wyatt tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Johnsen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Decent striking displayed by Johnsen there. Johnsen throws a right and a left that Wyatt avoids nicely. Johnsen misses with a wild combination.
Johnsen slips a jab and a cross from Wyatt.
Wyatt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wyatt forces Johnsen back against the ropes and clinches. Johnsen is looking for a takedown. Johnsen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wyatt pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Wyatt feinted with a counter takedown. Johnsen misses with a straight right. Johnsen misses with a combination
and Wyatt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wyatt scores with a nice strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnsen throws a head kick that misses. Johnsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnsen gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Wyatt gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Johnsen is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brent Wyatt! An intense looking Brent Wyatt took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Dont count me out... '. The defeated Johnny Johnsen had this to say: 'Fuck you, fuck your momma, fuck everybody...I'll be back motherfuckers...'.
