Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yogg Saron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yogg Saron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Jones! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Jones as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Yogg Saron has been cut. Saron fails in his attempt to clinch. Saron bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Saron tries to clinch up. Saron moves out of range as Jones strikes. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Saron. Jones lands a big shot that drops Saron! Can he finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones tries to stand but Saron is controlling from the bottom. Saron on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saron tries to get out of the position. Jones wants to control from the top but Saron keeps moving. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saron has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. Saron keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Saron fails with the takedown. Saron is breathing heavily. Jones wants to clinch up but Saron keeps it at a distance. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Saron fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saron lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jones takes a step back to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saron has a takedown stuffed. The fight stays on the outside here - Saron looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones tries to land a front kick but Saron steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jones tests Saron's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jones throws a jab when Saron was well out of range. Saron closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Saron leaning against his opponent.
Jones tries to break the clinch but Saron is controlling the position. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Saron won't allow it.
Jones tries to work over Saron's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Saron has him pressed against the cage. Jones is trying to break free. Saron lands with a right to the head. A short left from Saron.

Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saron but Saron pushes him off and we're back to square one. Saron slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Saron tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Saron lands a head kick!
Saron lands the left hand. Jones looks to clinch and Saron decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saron has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from. Jones is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Saron pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Saron has double underhooks. Saron has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jones regains guard immediately. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saron wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Jones wants to stand and escape but Saron is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Saron is proving a slippery customer.

Jab by Saron. Jab by Jones. Saron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Saron. David Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jones lunges at Saron with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Saron's hand. Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones scores with a one two! Saron had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jones tries to bum rush Saron with a series of wild strikes but Saron uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Saron circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Saron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saron drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A punch combination from Jones misses. Saron fails in his attempt to clinch. Saron tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two. Saron just misses with a punch to the body.
Saron cracks Jones with a good jab. Jones looks for a takedown but Saron sprawls well. Jones looks to land a combination but Saron avoids it well. Saron slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Jones misses with a hook. Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Saron will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A punch combination from Jones misses. Saron dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Saron feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Saron changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saron wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Saron stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Horrible takedown by Saron or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones slips a straight right by Saron. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Yogg Saron is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Saron tries to clinch up. Saron looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Saron persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yogg Saron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Saron wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Jones misses with a few strikes there.

Jones needs to keep his hands up - Saron had a free shot at his head there. Saron moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Saron counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jones! Saron has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones wants to hold on but Saron pushes him away. Jones reaches up to try and control the position but Saron seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Jones rolls and tries to escape and now Saron has his back!

Saron is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Saron is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
Jones kicks off Saron and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saron ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Saron slips under a jab. Saron shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Saron's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Saron shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Saron wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saron wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Saron looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Saron. Saron gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yogg Saron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones connects with the punch. Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Saron tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Saron will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Saron moves out of range as Jones strikes. Jones scores with a three punch combo!

Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Saron momentarily.
Saron looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Saron gets in close and instigates a clinch. Saron tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.

Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Saron is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Saron won't allow it.

Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Saron doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Yogg Saron has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Saron had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Saron Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead. Saron trying to control. Jones is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A bit of a pause in the action here. Saron controlling the positon. Jones is trying to stand back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Saron looking for the RNC. David Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones is trying to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to David Jones. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
