Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gabriel Arges (ranked 4019 p4p, 88 weight class) and Michael Musumeci (ranked 4023 p4p, 87 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Gabriel Arges! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 4 losses; Michael Musumeci! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Musumeci circles away from the clinch attempt.

Musumeci closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Arges's guard. Arges lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Arges (2) vs (2) Musumeci Arges stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Musumeci swivels though and keeps the full guard. Arges advances to half guard. Arges will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Musumeci is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Musumeci makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Musumeci. Musumeci manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arges manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Arges bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Musumeci's guard. Score +3 for passing guard: Arges (7) vs (4) Musumeci Arges advances to full mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Arges (9) vs (4) Musumeci Musumeci is controlling an arm, preventing Arges from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
