Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Meechum (ranked 21910 p4p, 588 weight class) and Phil Ure (ranked 7764 p4p, 524 weight class). The key to victory for Harold Meechum has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harold Meechum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Phil Ure! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meechum misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Meechum darts in and clinches Ure up against the cage. Meechum is trying to pull guard but Ure has him pressed against the cage. Ure wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Meechum decides to pull guard. Meechum controls Ure momentarily but Ure frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ure drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Meechum dives on top into guard. Meechum trying to control the position from guard on top but Ure is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meechum pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ure is keeping the position for now. Meechum wants to control from the top but Ure keeps moving. Ure throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Meechum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Meechum stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ure has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Meechum manages to get his head free but now Ure has transitioned to an armbar! Meechum grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ure! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Phil Ure!
