Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karl Denke!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Denke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Denke gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Halo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Halo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've been hearing good reports from Halo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Halo stops Denke from standing up.
Halo wants to control from the top but Denke keeps moving.

Denke has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Halo has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Denke lands an elbow just above Halo 's eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Halo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Denke lands a nice uppercut.

Denke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Denke avoids a punch combination nicely.
Denke throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Halo misses with a combination
and Halo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Halo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Denke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Halo thinking.
Halo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Denke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Denke.
Halo dives in for a single leg takedown but Denke sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Halo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Denke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Halo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Denke.
Denke misses with a wild body shot.
Denke shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Halo eats them both and turns towards Denke to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Denke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Halo. Halo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Denke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Halo is rocked!
Denke connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Halo out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Karl Denke tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
