Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Matvey Pavlov (ranked 891 p4p, 100 weight class) and Claudio Gadelha (ranked 4698 p4p, 364 weight class). Pavlov comes into the arena with Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 5 losses; Claudio Gadelha! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Gadelha fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pavlov avoids it really well and circles away. Gadelha shoots in and drives through. Pavlov sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Pavlov. No joy for Gadelha on that attempt. Matvey Pavlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Claudio Gadelha. Pavlov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Pavlov (4) vs (0) Gadelha The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Gadelha is trying to work for a sweep but Pavlov has mounted him! Score +2 for reaching mount: Pavlov (6) vs (0) Gadelha Pavlov tries to control but Gadelha wriggling away. Pavlov is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Gadelha is in real trouble.

Pavlov seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pavlov has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Gadelha is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Pavlov has his arm under Gadelha's chin here. Game over son! Pavlov squeezes tightly and Gadelha is forced to tap out!
