Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Forsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Forsey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roddy Piper! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forsey plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Horrible takedown by Piper or perhaps it was just good defense by Forsey which made him look bad. Forsey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Piper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Piper showed some decent athleticism there. Piper is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Forsey wants to get back to full guard. Piper is trying to control the action in half guard but Forsey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Forsey is looking for a sweep. Piper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forsey looks like he's trying to stand up.
Forsey could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Forsey is holding on to half guard well. Forsey pushes Piper off looking to stand but Piper dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Piper closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Forsey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Piper is looking for a sweep. Piper is not content to let Forsey control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piper is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Piper is trying to control Forsey's posture but Forsey avoids it. Piper being controlled for a moment. Forsey lands a few punches from side control. Forsey is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forsey working away. Piper tries to bench press Forsey off him but Forsey keeps the position. Forsey stands up and beckons Piper to his feet. Forsey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Piper counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Piper. Forsey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Piper gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Piper. Forsey goes for a takedown in the clinch but Piper prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Forsey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Piper gets a trip takedown into half guard. Piper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Forsey tries to roll over but Piper keeps him under control. Piper tries to stand but can't do so whilst Forsey controls his leg. Piper trying to control the action but Forsey is working from the bottom. Piper prevents Forsey from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Forsey dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Piper lands with a slapping head kick. Forsey with a poor takedown letting Piper counter with a right hand. Piper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forsey swivels and escapes. Piper forces Forsey back against the cage and clinches. A bit of stalling here from Forsey.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Forsey. Forsey wants a takedown but no success here.
Forsey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Piper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Forsey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Piper is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Piper pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Forsey won't allow Piper to sweep him here. Piper manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Forsey manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Forsey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Forsey wants to control the position but Piper says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Piper works his way into side control. Piper trying to control the position but Forsey is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Forsey regains half guard. Piper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forsey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Forsey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Piper is working away from the top position though. Forsey is looking for a sweep. Piper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Forsey manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Piper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forsey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Piper trying to control the position from guard on top but Forsey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Forsey wants to stand and escape but Piper is having none of it. Forsey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Piper! Piper is looking to get to half guard. Forsey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Forsey controlling from the full mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Piper can do anything to dispel that myth. Forsey looking to finish Piper with some ground and pound. This is bad for Piper! Forsey prevents Piper from getting the reversal. Forsey controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Piper tries to hold on but Forsey postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roddy Piper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Piper moves in looking to clinch but Forsey pushes him off. Forsey tries for a takedown but Piper circles away easily and Piper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Piper wants to pass the guard but Forsey is keeping the position. Forsey working for submissions but it's allowed Piper to get to half guard.
Piper working Forsey over with strikes. Roddy Piper has got the better of the ground game so far. Piper with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Forsey manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Forsey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Piper wants to control from the top but Forsey keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Forsey throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Forsey trying to keep a closed guard but Piper is proving a slippery customer.
Piper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Forsey is keeping the position for now. Piper is in close to Forsey's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Piper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Forsey stuffs the takedown attempt from Piper. Piper gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piper tries to clinch but fails miserably and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Forsey has Piper up against the cage in a clinch.
Forsey jumps guard but Piper stands there with Forsey around his waist. Forsey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Forsey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Piper drags the fight down to the ground.
Piper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Piper is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Forsey dives into side control.
Forsey has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Forsey with shots to the head and body - Piper looks very uncomfortable down there. Forsey tries to control but Piper wriggling away. Forsey has hold of Piper's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Piper manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Piper is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Roddy Piper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Piper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
