Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brutus Maximus!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burkman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Maximus finds it's way round the side to connect with Burkman's head.
Burkman closes the distance and clinches.
Burkman blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Maximus gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Burkman.
Burkman has Maximus pressed against the cage, preventing Maximus from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Burkman breaks from the clinch.
Brutus Maximus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burkman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Maximus has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Burkman has taken the fight to the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Burkman fails to land.
Burkman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Burkman breaks the clinch.
Burkman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Maximus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burkman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maximus thuds a left hand into Burkman's body.
Maximus fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maximus throws a series of punches but Burkman avoids them all with ease.
Burkman leaves his chin hanging out and Maximus seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Burkman crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brutus Maximus!
A relieved looking Brutus Maximus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
