Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between cody Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshiro Kishimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kishimoto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fighting dreamers kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! cody Jensen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, cody Jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toshiro Kishimoto!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen moves out of range as Kishimoto throws a body kick.

Jensen shoots in and bounces Kishimoto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kishimoto wants to stand and escape but Jensen is having none of it.
Kishimoto can't keep his opponent in guard - Jensen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kishimoto is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jensen scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kishimoto is trying to control but can't.
Jensen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jensen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kishimoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kishimoto works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kishimoto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jensen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jensen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kishimoto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jensen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jensen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jensen controls from within his opponent's guard.
Jensen landing with the ground and pound.
Jensen cracks Kishimoto with a solid left hand.
Jensen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jensen postures up.
Jensen trying to control the position from guard on top but Kishimoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kishimoto can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jensen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jensen stands up from Kishimoto's guard - Jensen perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kishimoto looks gassed!
Jensen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kishimoto swivels and escapes.
Jensen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kishimoto is fending him off so far but Jensen persists. Nope, Kishimoto circles away and we're back to standing.

Jensen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jensen throwing shots but Kishimoto is blocking nicely.
Kishimoto is trying to get back to full guard.
Jensen not doing much here.
Jensen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kishimoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kishimoto scores with a few weak punches.
Jensen performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Jensen uses his free foot to push down on Kishimoto's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kishimoto.

Jensen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Kishimoto wants to hold on but Jensen pushes him away.
Kishimoto looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Jensen is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Jensen connects with a big shot to the side of Kishimoto's head.

Jensen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kishimoto with him. Kishimoto is trying to defend but Jensen has an arm under the chin now! Kishimoto grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). cody Jensen!
