The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Davidson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shepherd is in Davidson's guard.
Shepherd is looking to stand up but Davidson won't let him.
Davidson really is a fat lump.
Davidson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shepherd is one step ahead there.
Shepherd wanted to stand there but Davidson had control of the position.
Shepherd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davidson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
