PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Stoker (ranked 87 p4p, 13 weight class) and Gustaf Stenbeck (ranked 259 p4p, 33 weight class). Stoker comes into the arena with Let There Be Rock by AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenbeck is looking to clinch but Stoker is avoiding it.
Stenbeck lands a lovely overhand right.
Stoker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stoker throws a low kick but Stenbeck avoids it.
Stoker defending well as Stenbeck loads up on a big left hand.

and Stenbeck connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stenbeck lands a jab to the head.
Stenbeck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stoker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good exchange - Stoker coming out on top.

Stenbeck lands a big head kick that sends Stoker tumbling to the mat! Stenbeck takes a step backwards and waves Stoker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Stoker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stenbeck paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stenbeck lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stoker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stenbeck connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Stenbeck stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

We've been told by Stoker's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stoker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoker misses with a looping right.
Stoker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stenbeck takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stoker tries to land a leg kick but Stenbeck saw it coming and moves away.

Stenbeck takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Stenbeck tries to get into range but Stoker steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Stenbeck! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Stoker scores the big KO victory!
