Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lauri Pekkarinen (ranked 775 p4p, 91 weight class) and Michal Filipowicz (ranked 797 p4p, 94 weight class). Pekkarinen comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Filipowicz has chosen Duran Duran - The Wild Boys as his entrance music. Pekkarinen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Filipowicz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Filipowicz felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Lauri Pekkarinen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
