Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rect Umm (ranked 21791 p4p, 860 weight class) and Griffin Heath (ranked 2077 p4p, 303 weight class). Heath has chosen Fuck Dat Ass · DJ Funk as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Umm throwing a counter right hand but Heath manages to avoid it.
Umm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Umm misses with a head kick.
Umm misses with a low kick as Heath jumps back.
Umm lands with a kick to the temple. Heath shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Jab, jab by Umm - just one landing.
Umm throws a head kick that misses.
Umm avoids the head kick by Heath.
Umm throws a lazy right hand but Heath sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rect Umm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Umm tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heath was well out of range. Poor timing from Umm.
Heath lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Rect Umm has been cut.
Heath moves away from the strike by Umm.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Umm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Heath's head backwards.

Umm looks to score with a jab to the body but Heath is just out of range.
Heath throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A slow jab from Umm misses its intended target.
Umm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Umm is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Umm has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fight Hard in the buildup to the fight.
Heath misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Umm uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heath raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Heath on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Heath doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Umm cracks Heath with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Heath is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Heath is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Heath could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Rect Umm!
