PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sicila (ranked 25081 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Silvio (ranked 3779 p4p, 0 weight class). Sicila has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silvio manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sicila on his heels. He'll look to pass Sicila's guard now, I'm sure.
Sicila looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sicila can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silvio controls the pace.
We've been hearing good reports from Sicila's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Silvio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Silvio drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Silvio seems to have locked his on tight now - Sicila screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Silvio, as he picks up the win!
