Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mariano Kemp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Guillermo Rigondeaux!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Rigondeaux throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kemp fails with a takedown attempt.
Kemp fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rigondeaux to the ground. Kemp is now in Rigondeaux's guard.
Kemp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rigondeaux controls Kemp momentarily but Kemp frees himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rigondeaux working a defensive guard but Kemp manages to pass into side control anyway.
Kemp connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rigondeaux some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kemp scores with punches from side control.
Kemp in side control lands a decent elbow.
Kemp cracks Rigondeaux with a big elbow.
Rigondeaux is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kemp has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Kemp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rigondeaux taking a bit of punishment here - Kemp scoring with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kemp is putting a hurting on Rigondeaux here, landing some big shots from side control.
Kemp is working to tighten his grip on Rigondeaux's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rigondeaux has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kemp is really squeezing tight and eventually Rigondeaux passes out! Kemp breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
