The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nurmagomegov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ahma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nurmagomegov somewhat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nurmagomegov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ahma thuds a left hand into Nurmagomegov's body.
Ahma cracks Nurmagomegov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Ahma ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Nurmagomegov out cold! The fight is over!
