Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Wolf (ranked 3171 p4p, 333 weight class) and Teem OReilly (ranked 4390 p4p, 436 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Teem OReilly was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wolf's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OReilly keeping full guard, as Wolf tries to pass.
Wolf controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wolf is working OReilly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if OReilly can do anything to dispel that myth.

OReilly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
OReilly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wolf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as OReilly is looking to escape.
BOOM! Wolf connects with a massive shot to the dome!
OReilly manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolf is looking for a kimura but OReilly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wolf to get the leverage.

Wolf uses his free foot to push down on OReilly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for OReilly.

Wolf cracks OReilly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Wolf! OReilly is hurt baaadly! Wolf is firing away with more strikes - OReilly is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julius Wolf!
Julius Wolf spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
