Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Wolf (ranked 3171 p4p, 333 weight class) and Teem OReilly (ranked 4390 p4p, 436 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Teem OReilly was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Julius Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teem OReilly! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wolf's corner is telling him to maintain position. OReilly keeping full guard, as Wolf tries to pass. Wolf controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wolf is working OReilly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wolf controls from within his opponent's guard. OReilly working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolf controlling from the top position. Wolf throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf controlling from the top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if OReilly can do anything to dispel that myth. Wolf scoring with some ground and pound. OReilly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. OReilly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wolf works over OReilly with some ground and pound from guard. Wolf's corner is telling him to maintain position. Wolf pushing down on OReilly's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolf slips a nice elbow through OReilly's hands, connecting with OReilly's forehead. Wolf with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Wolf looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wolf is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
OReilly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wolf frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wolf controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OReilly is looking to improve his position but Wolf isn't that keen on the idea. Wolf trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wolf lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wolf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as OReilly is looking to escape. BOOM! Wolf connects with a massive shot to the dome!
OReilly manages to regain half guard. Good work. Wolf is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolf is looking for a kimura but OReilly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wolf to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolf uses his free foot to push down on OReilly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for OReilly. Wolf working for a guillotine from mount but OReilly is in no mood to give up. Wolf unloading with bombs!
OReilly is rocked! Wolf cracks OReilly with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
OReilly is still in real trouble! Can Wolf finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oooooh, big shot lands for Wolf! OReilly is hurt baaadly! Wolf is firing away with more strikes - OReilly is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julius Wolf! Julius Wolf spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
