Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rama Arjuna (ranked 158 p4p, 22 weight class) and Alexi Laiho (ranked 330 p4p, 52 weight class). Arjuna comes to the cage accompanied by Om. Laiho has chosen Cold Sweat/ Thin Lizzy as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arjuna circles away from the clinch attempt.
Arjuna seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

As Laiho looks to move away, Arjuna throws a big counter combo but Laiho just gets out of the way.
Laiho fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Arjuna defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Laiho.
Arjuna jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

and Arjuna counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Laiho wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Laiho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arjuna tries to avoid it but Laiho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arjuna to the ground. Arjuna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Arjuna throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Arjuna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laiho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Laiho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd cheers as Laiho lands an impressive looking overhand right. Arjuna doesn't seem phased though.

Alexi Laiho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Laiho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
