Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Wilder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willy Boly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Boly doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wilder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Willy Boly has been cut.
Boly is looking to clinch but Wilder is avoiding it.
A little feinted left hand from Wilder on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Boly blocks a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wilder, as that shot connected.
Boly is rocked!
Wilder finds Boly's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Boly flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Wilder lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Boly will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Wilder!
