Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kjartan Isaksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Soturi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isaksen's entrance music is SHUT UP WOMAN, GET ON MY HORSE!. A fine choice. Soturi has chosen Insomnium - Down With the Sun as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Seppo Soturi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kjartan Isaksen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Soturi! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soturi ducks right into an uppercut from Isaksen.
It looks like Seppo Soturi has been cut. Isaksen misses with a two punch combination.
Isaksen has a takedown stuffed. Soturi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Soturi can't get the takedown.
Isaksen is pressed up against the cage. Soturi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Isaksen down to the mat. Isaksen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kjartan Isaksen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Isaksen throws a right and a left that Soturi avoids nicely. Isaksen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Soturi has his takedown stuffed and Isaksen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soturi won't be happy with that. Kjartan Isaksen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seppo Soturi. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soturi is looking to reverse the position. Soturi manages to get back to half guard. Isaksen trying to control the action but Soturi is working from the bottom. Isaksen prevents Soturi from standing back up.
Isaksen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Soturi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Isaksen is working for a kimura but Soturi is defending it quite comfortably.
Soturi manages to escape and get back to his feet! Isaksen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Soturi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Isaksen counters with a takedown into side control. Soturi is looking for a sweep. Soturi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Isaksen has just dragged him back down to the mat. Isaksen happy to just control the position for now. Soturi tries to escape but Isaksen is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Isaksen trying to control the action but Soturi is working from the bottom. Isaksen avoids the strikes from the bottom by Soturi. Soturi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Isaksen is controlling him well. Soturi is not content to let Isaksen control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Isaksen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Isaksen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This has been an exciting period of action! Soturi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Isaksen wants to control the pace but Soturi is squirming around nicely. Soturi regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soturi wants to get back to his feet. Soturi looks gassed! Isaksen trying to control the action but Soturi is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Isaksen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Isaksen tries to control but Soturi wriggling away. Isaksen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Isaksen controlling the pace for now. Isaksen trying to control but he's not successful this time. Isaksen controlling his opponent. Isaksen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Soturi is looking to escape. Isaksen controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Kjartan Isaksen just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Isaksen with a poor takedown and Soturi counters by clinching up. Soturi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Isaksen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Soturi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kjartan Isaksen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Seppo Soturi's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Isaksen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Soturi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Isaksen won't be happy with that. Isaksen takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Soturi taking a break here but Isaksen is having none of it and regains half guard. Soturi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Isaksen's head. Isaksen tries to get to full guard but Soturi has control of the leg. Isaksen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Soturi looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Soturi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Isaksen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Isaksen is trying to stand.
Isaksen is looking to control Soturi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Isaksen avoid being mounted? Soturi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Soturi misses with a takedown and Isaksen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soturi won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Isaksen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Isaksen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Soturi keeps working. Soturi is pushing Isaksen's head away, looking to escape. Isaksen manages to hold on to the position though. Soturi is looking to reverse the position. Soturi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Isaksen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Isaksen works to advance to full mount. Soturi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soturi wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Soturi turns into Isaksen and is now in his guard.

Soturi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Isaksen throws a shot to the body.
Isaksen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soturi is trying to improve his position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Isaksen in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Soturi is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
