Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Norwegian Nougat (ranked 2374 p4p, 232 weight class) and Adam Walker (ranked 1367 p4p, 147 weight class). Adam Walker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nougat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walker moves away.
It seemed like Walker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Walker defending well as Nougat loads up on a big left hand.
Norwegian Nougat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nougat connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nougat scores with a shot to the body.
Nougat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Walker .
Walker avoids the body shot from Nougat.
Nougat misses with a straight right.
Walker looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Nougat jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nougat throws a body punch but Walker moves out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nougat darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Nougat has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Walker throws out a loose jab but Nougat uses good head movement to avoid it.
Walker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Walker misses with a few strikes there.
Nougat throws a looping overhand right but Walker ducks down to avoid it.
Nougat misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker .
Walker looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nougat moves away.
Nougat throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Walker to counter with a crisp jab.
Walker tests Nougat's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nougat missing with a left hand there. Walker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nougat cracks Walker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nougat misses with a hook
and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nougat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nougat takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nougat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nougat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Walker ! But no joy.
Nougat scores with a jab to the body.
Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A quick step to the side and Nougat tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nougat throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Walker throws a lazy right hand but Nougat sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Walker swinging wildly here.
It looked like Nougat was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Walker .
Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nougat.
A little jabbing left from Walker on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nougat misses with a hook
and Walker counters with a three punch combo that has Nougat backing up. Nougat nods at Walker to acknowledge the strikes.
Nougat takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Nougat off the cage and back into range.
Walker lands a two punch combo.
Nougat is rocked!
Nougat looks up at the clock. Bad move! Walker lands a right hand from hell, dropping Nougat. Walker pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Walker !
