Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ard KO!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aki Aromaa!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aromaa throws a right hand that KO ducks under and follows up with a left that KO also avoids with ease.
Aromaa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but KO circles away quickly and effectively.
Aromaa lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Aromaa.
KO throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
KO tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aromaa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aromaa loads up on a big right hand but KO slips the punch.
Aromaa misses with an attempted mid kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aromaa.
KO clinches with his opponent.
KO stops a takedown attempt from Aromaa.
KO is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
KO pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aromaa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
KO plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Aki Aromaa has been cut.
KO keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Aromaa throws a lazy head kick
and KO counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aromaa misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
KO connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Aromaa to the floor! KO dives in looking for the finish!
Aromaa is rocked!
KO stands up from half guard.
Aromaa is still on wobbly legs! Can KO finish him?
Aromaa throws a sloppy head kick
and KO counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Aromaa is out cold! A devastating KO!
