Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elisha Branch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucifer Morningstar!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morningstar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Branch.
Morningstar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Branch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morningstar misses with a series of wild punches.
Branch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Branch goes for a double leg but Morningstar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morningstar continues to drive forward.
Morningstar lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Elisha Branch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Branch darts in and clinches Morningstar up against the cage.

Morningstar breaks from the clinch.

Branch closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Morningstar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Branch is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Branch is pushing Morningstar up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Branch has Morningstar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Morningstar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Morningstar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Branch takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Branch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morningstar cracks Branch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Morningstar feints and then cracks Branch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Branch down.
Branch wants to clinch up but Morningstar keeps it at a distance.

Branch tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morningstar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Morningstar counters with a series of strikes. Branch will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Branch counters with a two punch combo.

Branch seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Branch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morningstar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Morningstar throws a nice looking combination but Branch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Morningstar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Branch is rocked!
OH! Branch has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Morningstar smells blood and charges in for the finish! Morningstar unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Branch sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lucifer Morningstar!
After winning the bout, Lucifer Morningstar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
