Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Badr Houdoe (ranked 4931 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalid Al Saadoun (ranked 3951 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalid Al Saadoun told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houdoe misses with a takedown
and Al Saadoun counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Al Saadoun.
Al Saadoun is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Al Saadoun is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Houdoe has had enough of the clinch but Al Saadoun keeps him there for the moment.
Houdoe wants to get back to striking at distance but Al Saadoun won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Houdoe cracks Al Saadoun with a big right hand but Al Saadoun just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Al Saadoun can do anything to dispel that myth.
Al Saadoun is pushing Houdoe's head away, looking to escape. Houdoe manages to hold on to the position though.
Al Saadoun is not content to let Houdoe control the position.
Houdoe wants to stand but Al Saadoun is controlling his arm.
Al Saadoun is looking to reverse the position.
Houdoe in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Houdoe has hold of Al Saadoun's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Al Saadoun tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Houdoe cranks the arm and Al Saadoun screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Al Saadoun, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
