The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baskin dives in and grabs Cubbedge 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cubbedge pushes down on Baskin's head and hops out.
Baskin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cubbedge is fending him off so far but Baskin persists. Nope, Cubbedge circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Billy Cubbedge has been cut.

Cubbedge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cubbedge lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Baskin quite badly. Baskin pulls Cubbedge in close trying to recover. Cubbedge postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Baskin on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Baskin doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
