The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As Rewell looks to move away, Wilson throws a big counter combo but Rewell just gets out of the way.

It seemed like Rewell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rewell.

Wilson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wilson.
Wilson tries to clinch up but Rewell circles away and keeps his distance.
Rewell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like Sam Wilson has been cut.
Sam Wilson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rewell moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Wilson is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Rewell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Rewell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rewell has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Wilson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rewell is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rewell can't escape the position.

Wilson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rewell turns into him and now he's in Wilson's guard.
Rewell is stalling in the full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
Sam Wilson showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Wilson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
