Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mo Lee (ranked 5872 p4p, 562 weight class) and Conor Martin (ranked 24971 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mo Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Conor Martin! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee gets a takedown into half guard. Martin wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Martin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Martin trying to control the position.
Martin is adopting a defensive guard. Lee preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Martin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Martin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee has gone for a leg lock! Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lee's guard. Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martin is one step ahead there. Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Martin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee has his foot on Martin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Martin works his way back into a safe position though. Lee keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Lee throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Martin escapes and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lee is looking to regain half guard here but Martin keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is not content to let Martin control the position. Lee parries the strikes from Martin easily there. Martin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lee to escape.
Martin has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA New York. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Martin.
Lee is trying to control Martin's posture but Martin avoids it. Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lee is trying to get back to his feet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Martin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Martin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Martin wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Lee wants to clinch. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee gets a double leg takedown into Martin's guard. Martin has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lee has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Martin pulls Lee into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Martin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Lee taking some punishment here, with Martin in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conor Martin dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Lee is looking to clinch. Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Martin wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Martin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martin has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage. Martin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.

Martin is looking to stall here but Lee recovers full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Martin wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee wants to stand and escape but Martin is having none of it. Martin won't allow Lee to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Martin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Martin throwing strikes but missing. Lee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Martin has picked Lee up and slammed him! Lee can't keep hold of the triangle and Martin manages to pass to side control! Lee is trying to improve his position. Martin staying calm. Lee wants to get back to his feet but Martin drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lee is trying to escape the position but Martin is controlling the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Martin decides to stand back up. Martin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Martin wants a takedown but no success here.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martin.
Martin has Lee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Martin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lee tumbling to the mat - Martin dives into Lee's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Lee is looking to cinch up a triangle. Martin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lee's body to avoid the submission. Lee has instead reached around Martin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mo Lee! Conor Martin was interviewed post fight and said 'Was I doing it right? I have to return strong again.'.
