Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Universe (ranked 4020 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rylie (ranked 23182 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
32 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mr Universe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rylie!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rylie misses with a takedown
and Universe counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Universe landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Universe crunches a lovely knee into Rylie's ribcage.
Rylie looks winded!
Universe manages to break the clinch.
Ryan Rylie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rylie throws a body punch but Universe moves out of range.
Rylie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Universe counters with a good, hard body kick but Rylie shrugs it off.
Universe lands a right hook to the body.
Universe rushes Rylie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Universe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Danga de danga de dang - Universe scores with a four punch combination!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Universe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rylie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rylie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Universe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rylie's sensitive parts.
Universe pushes Rylie up against the cage in a clinch.
Universe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rylie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Universe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rylie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rylie is rocked!
Universe lands a brutal head kick. Rylie looks out on his feet and Universe throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Mr Universe!
