Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mario Bly (ranked 6539 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Faioanaka (ranked 8610 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hit em High. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faioanaka shoots in looking for a takedown. Bly tries to sprawl out of it but Faioanaka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bly throws a head kick that misses.
Bly lands a glancing blow to the side of Faioanaka's head.
Bly throws a nice looking combination but Faioanaka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mario Bly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faioanaka clinches with his opponent.
Faioanaka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Faioanaka tries to score a body lock takedown but Bly shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Faioanaka is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bly is defending well though. Faioanaka let's go of the attempt for now.
Faioanaka keeps control of the position easily here as Bly tries to buck him off.
You can see the frustration on Bly's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Faioanaka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bly as he avoids it easily.
Bly feints a jab promting Faioanaka to slip. Bly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Faioanaka slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mario Bly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bly lands a nice hook to Faioanaka's body. Faioanaka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bly stalks Faioanaka and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Faioanaka's face. Faioanaka staggers backwards, shaken.

Bly fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Faioanaka has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
