Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Hades!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Hades.
Hades throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brown shoots in but Hades avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Brown looks for a takedown but Hades sprawls well.
Brown slips a jab from Hades.
Hades tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Hades.
Brown tries for a takedown but Hades sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hades as he jumps to the side.

Apollo Hades is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hades displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hades takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hades tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Hades.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hades tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hades to the ground. Hades escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Brown throws a hook to the side of Hades's head but Hades sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hades throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Hades misses its intended target.
Hades missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The fighters circling - Hades throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Hades tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hades manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Hades walks into a straight right hand from Brown.
Oooh a lovely combination from Brown sends Hades down but not out. Brown dives into side control looking to finish.
Brown has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hades!

Brown gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Hades tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hades manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hades throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off.
Brown looks to land a left hand but Hades moved out of range nicely.
Hades takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hades is looking to clinch.

Apollo Hades has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hades takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hades moves forwards but Brown connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brown slips a straight right by Hades.
Hades missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice uppercut lands for Brown. That snapped Hades's head back.
Hades loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Brown.
Well Brown has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
