Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 1265 p4p, 192 weight class) and Gerry Kelly (ranked 432 p4p, 68 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Mary had a little lamb. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
56 - 35 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerry Kelly! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly closes the distance and pushes Tyson back into the cage. A short right from Tyson. Kelly has Tyson pressed against the cage.
Tyson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kelly is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tyson is defending well. Kelly has Tyson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kelly pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tyson tumbling to the mat - Kelly dives into Tyson's guard. Tyson looking to control.
Tyson pulls Kelly in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly throws a big right hand that misses. Tyson controlling the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tyson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kelly's guard. Kelly trying to control the position here. Tyson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tyson wants to stand but Kelly has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kelly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tyson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kelly fails with the takedown and Tyson counters with a straight right hand. Tyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kelly throws a right and a left that both miss. A counter left hand to the body from Tyson misses its target. Tyson swings for the body but Kelly moves out of range.
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
A quick step to the side and Tyson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Tyson looks to land a body kick but Kelly moved away. Tyson throws a lazy body kick and Kelly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tyson's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Kelly pushing down on Tyson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kelly is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly is working for a kimura but Tyson is defending it quite comfortably.
Kelly wants to free his trapped foot but Tyson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tyson wants to control but Kelly is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerry Kelly dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tyson throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot. Oooooh!!! Kelly has knocked Tyson down with a huge combo! Kelly steps away and waves a wobbly Tyson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Kelly is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tyson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Kelly moves into the clinch. Tyson swings wildly with an uppercut but Kelly uses good head movement to avoid it. Kelly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kelly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kelly throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tyson on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kelly misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tyson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tyson cracks Kelly with an open hand slap. Tyson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kelly unleashes a big counter combination but Tyson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kelly drives through with a takedown into guard. Kelly trying to control but Tyson is working from the bottom. Kelly wants to stand but Tyson is controlling his posture from full guard. Kelly looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly is fighting to break Tyson's control of his arms but Tyson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kelly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kelly with the counter takedown but Tyson avoids it easily. Tyson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyson jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Tyson throws a head kick but Kelly moves out of range.
Kelly tries for a takedown but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mike Tyson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kelly gets the takedown into side control. Tyson seems a little lost for a moment, as Kelly dominates the positioning. Kelly tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Kelly tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kelly is trying to ground and pound but Tyson uses the momentary lack of control by Kelly to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson is looking for a sweep. Kelly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tyson is trying to maintain the position but Kelly is very close to passing his half guard. Kelly wants to free his trapped foot but Tyson is holding on for dear life with his legs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tyson wants to improve his position but Kelly is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerry Kelly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Kelly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyson lands a really nice looking cross but Kelly seems unphased.
Kelly uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyson. Kelly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tyson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kelly has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kelly throws a head kick that misses and Tyson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tyson just misses with a punch to the body.
It seemed like Kelly was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kelly closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tyson quickly recovers to half guard. Tyson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Tyson trying to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kelly might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tyson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kelly with a flurry of punches that miss. Tyson is pulling down on Kelly's head. It's preventing any offense from Kelly, at least for the moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kelly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gerry Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tyson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelly. Kelly shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kelly in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The ground and pound from Kelly seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kelly decides to stand back up. Kelly lands a head kick. Tyson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Kelly wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kelly changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Tyson is looking to land body kicks. Tyson misses the jab. Kelly misses with a takedown and Tyson counters with a nice body shot. Tyson lands with a right hand. Kelly throws a half hearted mid kick. Gerry Kelly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kelly has his takedown stuffed and Tyson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mike Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerry Kelly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly closes the distance and clinches. Tyson misses with a hook from the clinch. Tyson stops a takedown attempt from Kelly.
Tyson misses with a body punch.
Tyson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tyson tries to work over Kelly's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kelly is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tyson is defending well. Kelly's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short right hand to the side of the head by Tyson. Kelly fails to pull guard.
Kelly has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kelly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kelly taking a breather. Mike Tyson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gerry Kelly is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tyson working aggressively here.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Tyson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kelly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gerry Kelly! In his post fight interview, Gerry Kelly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
