Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cahal Jefferson (ranked 2374 p4p, 264 weight class) and Nando Vasquez (ranked 2606 p4p, 290 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nando Vasquez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez misses with a hook. Jefferson ducked under it nicely.
Vasquez moves out of range of the leg kick from Jefferson.
Jefferson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jefferson swinging wildly here.
Jefferson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vasquez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jefferson misses with a straight left.
Jefferson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Vasquez scores with a hook.
Jefferson throws a lazy right hand but Vasquez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jefferson misses with a right hand
and Vasquez counters with a straight right hand.
Jefferson throws a nice looking combination but Vasquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jefferson misses with a few strikes there.
Vasquez catches Jefferson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jefferson misses with a head kick.
A jab from Jefferson does it's job there.
Cahal Jefferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jefferson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vasquez lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jefferson will feel that in the morning.
Nice defenses there by Jefferson.
Jefferson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Jefferson tries a head kick but it misses.
Vasquez lands a jab to the head.
Jefferson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vasquez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vasquez cracks Jefferson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vasquez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Vasquez thuds his right hand into Jefferson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jefferson is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Vasquez throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Jefferson is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

After winning the bout, Nando Vasquez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
