Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Bedlaminov (ranked 1869 p4p, 174 weight class) and Simon Vale (ranked 2214 p4p, 204 weight class). Bedlaminov comes to the cage accompanied by Call to Arms. Vale is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Motorhead-Iron Fist . On his way into the cage it seems that Yuri Bedlaminov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yuri Bedlaminov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuri Bedlaminov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Vale! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Bedlaminov. Vale has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bedlaminov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Vale wants to land a leg kick but Bedlaminov is out of range. Vale uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Yuri Bedlaminov has been cut. Bedlaminov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vale. Bedlaminov fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice shot by Vale. Bedlaminov scores with a jab.
It looks like Simon Vale has been cut. Bedlaminov cracks a nice hook into Vale's ribs. Vale checks a low kick from Bedlaminov. Vale is looking to chop away at Bedlaminov's legs. Bedlaminov looks to land a right hand but Vale moved out of range. Bedlaminov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Vale fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bedlaminov is out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! A looping hook to the body misses from Vale. Bedlaminov does a little dance to reset his feet. A counter left hand to the body from Bedlaminov misses its target. Good shot there by Bedlaminov. Bedlaminov steps in with a hook that catches Vale right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bedlaminov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Vale looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Bedlaminov! After winning the bout, Yuri Bedlaminov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
