Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Crazy Lobo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Antoine!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobo throws a right and a left that Antoine avoids nicely.
Lobo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Lobo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Antoine swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lobo.
It looks like Crazy Lobo has been cut.
Lobo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Antoine circles away quickly and effectively.
Antoine looks to land a combination but Lobo avoids it well.
Lobo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Antoine counters by moving into the clinch.
Antoine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch combination from Lobo misses.
Antoine has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Antoine scores with a jab to the body.
Lobo is breathing heavily.
Antoine batters Lobo with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lobo is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Antoine lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lobo to the mat with a gruesome thud! Antoine is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Carter Antoine!
In his post fight interview, Carter Antoine started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
