Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Kingsley (ranked 2574 p4p, 366 weight class) and Norbert Oggleberry-Pip (ranked 969 p4p, 155 weight class). Kingsley comes to the ring accompanied by Return of the Mack- Morrison. Norbert Oggleberry-Pip looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norbert Oggleberry-Pip! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingsley fails with a takedown attempt. Oggleberry-Pip looks to land a left hand but Kingsley moved out of range nicely. Oggleberry-Pip throws a sloppy body shot
and Kingsley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kingsley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Oggleberry-Pip is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Kingsley throws a jab but it's blocked by Oggleberry-Pip. Oggleberry-Pip stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Kingsley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oggleberry-Pip slaps away a takedown attempt from Kingsley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kingsley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oggleberry-Pip sprawls well initially but Kingsley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Oggleberry-Pip moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Oggleberry-Pip utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oggleberry-Pip is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oggleberry-Pip bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kingsley's guard.

Oggleberry-Pip keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Oggleberry-Pip instigates a clinch. Oggleberry-Pip doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

He used the ropes to his advantage there. Oggleberry-Pip lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kingsley or not. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oggleberry-Pip digs a right hand into Kingsley's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kingsley's gas tank. Kingsley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Oggleberry-Pip lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kingsley thows a left - swing and a miss! Oggleberry-Pip gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kingsley to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kingsley cracks Oggleberry-Pip with a solid left hand. Kingsley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Oggleberry-Pip looking to control.

Kingsley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Oggleberry-Pip with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Oggleberry-Pip is still in real trouble! Can Kingsley finish him? Kingsley lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Oggleberry-Pip quite badly. Oggleberry-Pip pulls Kingsley in close trying to recover. Kingsley postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Oggleberry-Pip on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Oggleberry-Pip doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
