Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 3489 p4p, 305 weight class) and Jair Malachi (ranked 4453 p4p, 365 weight class). Jair Malachi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Boyka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jair Malachi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyka cracks a nice hook into Malachi's ribs. Boyka slips a straight right by Malachi. Boyka drops down looking for a counter takedown but Malachi sprawls and moves away. Malachi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Boyka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Boyka connects with a looping right hand.
Boyka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Boyka misses with a wild combination.
Boyka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malachi momentarily.
Malachi on the wrong end of a nice hook. Boyka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Boyka lands with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boyka shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Malachi misses with a straight left. Boyka misses with a kick to the body.
Boyka scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Jair Malachi has been cut. Boyka throws a head kick that misses. Boyka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malachi. Yuri Boyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boyka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Malachi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malachi swings for the body but Boyka moves out of range.
Boyka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A nice combination there by Boyka.
Boyka sizes up Malachi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Boyka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some bone on bone action there as Malachi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Boyka works Malachi's body with a nice hook. Malachi throws a looping overhand right but Boyka ducks down to avoid it. Boyka scores with a jab to the head.
Boyka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Malachi. Nice uppercut there from Boyka.
Malachi is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Malachi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Malachi is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyka finish him? Boyka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Malachi is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Boyka just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Malachi has gone limp and this one is over!
