Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Wesley Correira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norman Stebson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correira slips a straight right by Stebson.
Correira blocks a head kick by Stebson.
Stebson scores with a body shot.
Correira connects with the punch.
Correira fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stebson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Correira lands with a slapping head kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Correira.
Stebson tries to land a front kick but Correira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Correira throwing a counter right hand but Stebson manages to avoid it.
Stebson is looking to chop away at Correira's legs.
Correira dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stebson. That did some damage!
Correira uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stebson.
Correira is looking for a counter combo.
Stebson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Correira. Correira circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Stebson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stebson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stebson looks to throw the jab but Correira is out of range.
Correira throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stebson throws a sloppy head kick and Correira moves out of range easily.
Correira tried to counter with a leg kick but Stebson avoided it.
Correira closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Stebson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Stebson missing with a left hand there. Correira was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stebson misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Stebson.
Stebson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Correira checks it well.
Stebson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stebson, as that shot connected.
Stebson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Stebson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Correira.
Stebson is looking to score with low kicks.
Stebson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Correira counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A slapping body kick lands there for Correira.
Correira's jab looks to have found its range, popping Stebson under the eye.
Stebson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Correira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stebson throws a sloppy head kick and Correira moves out of range easily.
Stebson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Correira swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Stebson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Correira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stebson throws out the jab.
Correira looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Stebson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Stebson throws the kick towards the body but Correira avoids it.
Stebson misses with a leg kick.
Correira gets a clinch.
Correira lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Stebson or not.
Stebson can't find room to land a body shot as Correira controls the action.
I was talking to Correira's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stebson.
Correira throws an elbow that misses.
Correira lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Norman Stebson has been cut.
Nice body punch from Correira.
Stebson looks winded!
Correira goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Correira comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Correira digs a right hand into Stebson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stebson's gas tank.
Correira gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Correira scores with a nice hook to the head.
Correira lands a left hand.
A nice left hand lands by Correira.

Correira comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Stebson is rocked!

Stebson is still on wobbly legs! Can Correira finish him?

Correira creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Stebson! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Correira.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wesley Correira!
Wesley Correira was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
