Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a lazy body kick
and Lanetaylor counters with a two punch combo.
Martinez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Martinez gets caught flat footed, as Lanetaylor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Martinez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lanetaylor has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Lanetaylor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Martinez keeps the fight on the outside.
Martinez throws a solid leg kick but Lanetaylor takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Martinez.

Lanetaylor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martinez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lanetaylor somewhat.

Martinez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martinez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lanetaylor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lanetaylor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lanetaylor is defended easily by Martinez.

and Lanetaylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martinez's guard.

Martinez manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Martinez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Lanetaylor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lanetaylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martinez's waist but Martinez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lanetaylor off to one side.
Manuel Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Lanetaylor.

Lanetaylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Martinez swivels and escapes.
Lanetaylor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lanetaylor winds up and cracks Martinez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Lanetaylor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martinez tries to avoid it but Lanetaylor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martinez to the ground. Martinez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
