Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mottus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Balboa under the eye.
Mottus lands a nice hook to Balboa's body. Balboa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mottus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Balboas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Mottus stuns Balboa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mottus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Balboa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Balboa lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Balboa tries to clinch there but Mottus circles away.

Balboa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mottus throws a right and a left that Balboa avoids nicely.

Mottus lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Balboa fails in his attempt to clinch.

Balboa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mottus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mottus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mottus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Balboa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Balboa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mottus circles away.
Balboa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Balboa tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice side step and Mottus releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Mottus lands with a short shot to the head.
Mottus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mottus pushes Balboa against the cage. Mottus is working some dirty boxing. Mottus pushes off with a quick right hook! Balboa goes down! Balboa tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Mottus moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
