The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Price's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Price saw that one coming.
Smith lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Johnny Price has been cut.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Price's shoulder, as Price tries to avoid the shot.
Price appears to be looking for a big counter.

Price is looking to counter the offense by Smith and move into the clinch.
