Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 1504 p4p, 193 weight class) and Turbo Epicity (ranked 4193 p4p, 424 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent. The crowd seem to be enjoying Epicity's choice of entrance music: Semi Charmed Life. Turbo Epicity will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Turbo Epicity!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Epicity as Gracie shoots in.
Epicity swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gracie scores with a takedown into Epicity's guard.
Gracie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Epicity manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Epicity in his guard.
Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Epicity is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Epicity's guard.
Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Epicity keeps moving.
Epicity pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position.
Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Epicity gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Epicity slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Epicity defends it easily.
Epicity stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Epicity has passed into half guard!
Gracie tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Epicity has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Epicity really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but Epicity has a good base and remains in mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie is working hard here to advance position.
Epicity manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gracie to take his back!
Epicity has the hooks in. Gracie is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Turbo Epicity will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gracie slips under a jab.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gracie darts in looking for a takedown but Epicity gets double underhooks and turns Gracie into the cage.
Epicity throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Epicity lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Epicity swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Epicity connects with a crisp jab.
Epicity displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Epicity throws out a counter right but Gracie avoids it with no problem.
Epicity bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Epicity throws a solid leg kick but Gracie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Epicity.

A nice inside leg kick there by Epicity. That's going to slow Gracie down.

Epicity tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Epicity has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Epicity defends well and Gracie ends up having to push Epicity into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Epicity's guard.
Epicity pushes Gracie off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Epicity saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Epicity won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
Gracie trying to control the action but Epicity is working from the bottom.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Epicity is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Epicity has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.

Epicity preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Gracie is just content to waste time from the top position. Epicity takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Gracie trying to control but Epicity is working from the bottom.
Gracie throws an elbow that misses. Epicity uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gracie's guard. Nice move by Epicity!
Epicity must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Epicity doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Epicity manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Epicity has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends and breaks Epicity's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.

After winning the bout, Royce Gracie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
