Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moe Bang (ranked 3261 p4p, 348 weight class) and Nick Dalton (ranked 5860 p4p, 523 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Moe Bang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dalton! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dalton.
Bang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dalton cracks Bang with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Dalton misses with an uppercut. Bang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dalton's guard. Dalton pushes Bang off and gets back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice uppercut lands for Dalton. That snapped Bang's head back.
Dalton lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Moe Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dalton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bang moves away. Dalton misses with an uppercut. Bang saw that one coming. Bang changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Bang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dalton in his tracks. Dalton stuffs the takedown. Dalton tries to clinch up. Bang feinted with a counter takedown. A shot to the liver by Dalton. Beautiful body shot. Bang cracks Dalton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bang on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bang takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Bang blocks the leg kick.
Dalton looks to throw the jab but Bang is out of range. Bang feinted with a counter takedown. Bang showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dalton.

Bang throws a body punch but Dalton moves out of range. Bang moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromDalton. Bang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dalton is fending him off so far but Bang persists. Nope, Dalton circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Bang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dalton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dalton! But no joy. Dalton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dalton fails to land with a series of punches.
Dalton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bang swings for the body but Dalton moves out of range.

That was a bit too telegraphed. Dalton throws a body shot but no joy. Dalton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bang has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dalton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bang tries to move into range but Dalton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dalton misses with a low kick.
Dalton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dalton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bang misses with a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Dalton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Bang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dalton. Bang misses with a hook. Dalton lands a leg kick that knocks Bang off balance momentarily. Dalton tries to sprawl but Bang drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bang stops Dalton from getting back to his feet.
Bang throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bang with the ground and pound but Dalton uses the opportunity to regain guard. Bang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bang controls the pace. Bang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bang won't allow Dalton to get back to his feet. Bang throws a big elbow that misses. Bang stands up over Dalton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dalton preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dalton being controlled here, momentarily. Dalton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dalton lands with an uppercut that bounces Bang off the cage and back into range. Bang walks into a stiff left hand from Dalton. Bang looks to land a left hand but Dalton moved out of range nicely. Dalton throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Dalton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dalton there as he acknowledges the shot. Dalton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bang throws an overhand right that lands on Dalton's shoulder, as Dalton tries to avoid the shot. Horrible takedown attempt by Bang or perhaps it was just good defense by Dalton, which made it look bad. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dalton! But no joy. Bang dives in for a single leg takedown but Dalton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bang fails with the takedown. A nice inside leg kick there by Dalton. That's going to slow Bang down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Dalton dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bang tries for a takedown but Dalton circles away easily and Dalton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dalton throws a hook to the side of Bang's head but Bang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dalton manages to avoid it. A nice leg kick lands there from Bang. Bang dives in and scores a takedown into Dalton's guard. Bang is pushing down on Dalton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dalton is fighting to maintain full guard but Bang has managed to sneak the leg through. Bang drops an elbow to the side of Dalton's head. Dalton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dalton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bang. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalton wants to get back to his feet.
Bang is just content to waste time from the top position. Dalton takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bang throwing strikes from guard but Dalton blocks nicely.

Moe Bang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bang wants to control from the top but Dalton keeps moving. Bang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bang stops Dalton from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bang missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bang cracks Dalton with a solid left hand. Bang trying to control but Dalton is working from the bottom. Bang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bang passes Dalton's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dalton regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bang. Bang with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dalton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bang.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bang throws a strike but Dalton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dalton trying to control the position from guard on top but Bang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dalton prevents Bang from getting back to his feet. Bang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bang is nestled in close to Dalton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dalton wants to get back to his feet. Bang not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bang is trying to control the action in half guard but Dalton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bang sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dalton defending well though. Bang winds up and cracks Dalton with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bang thows a huge punch but Dalton dodges it nicely.
Bang throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bang missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bang looks to land a strike but Dalton avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bang throws a strike but Dalton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bang managing to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dalton preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moe Bang dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Bang swats away the attempt to clinch by Dalton. Bang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bang has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dalton lands with a thumping leg kick.

Dalton tries to clinch but Bang is having none of it. Bang half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Bang shoots in for a takedown but Dalton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalton instigates a clinch. Dalton misses with a punch to the body.

Bang lands a shoulder strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bang has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dalton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dalton misses with a punch on the inside.
Bang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bang lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dalton or not. Dalton throws a punch but it's blocked by Bang. Bang blocks a body shot from Dalton. Dalton misses with the head strike.
Dalton lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bang turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bang manages to end up in side control. Dalton is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bang tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bang in side control, throwing shots but Dalton defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bang tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bang throws an elbow but Dalton slips to the side and avoids it well. Bang tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. An elbow from Bang crashes against the mat.
Dalton tries to escape but Bang is in control. Sloppy strikes there by Bang. Bang tries to score with some ground and pound. Dalton controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dalton has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bang misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The strikes coming from Bang are missing the target in this wave of attacks. This has been an exciting period of action! Bang taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dalton keeps working. Dalton avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bang. Dalton taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bang misses with the ground and pound. Dalton is trying to buck Bang off. Bang is trying to get an arm triangle but Dalton is defending well.

Dalton is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dalton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bang connects with a decent elbow. Dalton parries the strikes from Bang easily there. Bang is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dalton to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Nick Dalton. I think Dalton has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
